Food Industry Looks into Web

Guangdong Provincial Foodstuff Industry Association, CN838.com, and Yangcheng Evening News Group are organizing a two-day forum on the food industry during the Internet age. At the event, which began yesterday, about 1,000 foodstuff business representatives, web masters and governmental officials, at home and from abroad, are discussing how the traditional food industry can take advantage of the booming e-commerce for information, marketing and sales, and higher efficiency. The forum is aimed at bringing domestic foodstuff manufacturers and web masters closer together.
